Dear Friends,

“Welcome to the theater,
you fools, you’ll love it so!”

          — from the musical APPLAUSE

Thank you to ALL of the wonderful people who came out to see the RED VELVET CAKE WARS. We had a great turnout and were pleased to have so many people enjoy the show — and some Red Velvet cake!

We have now produced two shows in the new, beautiful Lauri Ann West Community Center. As with any transition, there were a few hurdles to conquer and we managed to pull it off! The sets looked amazing, the lighting “trees” we constructed did their job, and with a little duct tape and black poster board, the crew made this a truly great theater experience.

We are so excited as our community truly deserves to have a quality, state-of-the-art community center — complete with a great performance space... not just for Stage Right, but for all of the other groups and organzations who would benefit from having a medium sized-stage. Please click on the “Help the Stage” button to the left —and find out how you can help!

Be sure to check out the info about our first-ever summer production YOU’RE A GOOD MAN, CHARLIE BROWN, which is being cast entirely with high school teenagers.

And be sure to look into the Stage Right Junior Summer Camps!

Meanwhile, we are furiously planning for some other great stuff, such as.
  • Continuing our Education Programming with classes at LAWCC
  • A fundraising gala

Don’t forget, we offer some great advertising opportunities in our program books! Contact us today for more info! (Or click on the “Advertise” link.)

Pittsburgh is a fantastic place for live performance, and Stage Right is proud to be a part of this thriving theatre community. I am SO pleased too, to get to know so many of the wonderful actors and volunteers who make all of this possible.

If you like the theater, and would like to participate, PLEASE let us know! We are always looking for new faces to join in the magic of live performance!

I remain VERY excited about the future of Stage Right!

SEE YOU AT THE SHOW!
